I was in town for a week and stopped by to train with the Figueroa Team one day. Super cool people, welcoming and great jiu jitsu level. Won't forget the octopus guard/pass Coach Martin taught me. Osss
I've been to a bunch of jiu jitsu gyms in San Diego I'd rate this place top notch. Martin, is an excellent instructor and maintains a great gym culture. If you're considering joining here, you won't regret it.
Hidden gem of a school with world class instructors and real legends rolling through on a regular basis. I just can’t say enough about the positive influence this school has made in our lives. The instruction is top notch and we appreciate the support of the amazing Jiu-Jitsu family at Figueroa BJJ.
Great Academy. I’ve been training here since 2013 and my jiujitsu and confidence in my ability to defend myself, compete in tournaments, and help new students fall in love with jiujitsu like I did has grown a lot over the years. You get the individual attention you need when you start off to get you going. And there’s lots of students who can answer questions and help you on your journey. And the kids program has been growing if you plan to sign up as a family.
