In October, 2026, I had my defender shipped from S. Ca. to Artisan. I had researched where to sent a car that sat idle for 4 years in a garage. The Rover club of Massachusetts recommended them. I was originally going to have it shipped to East Coast Rover, way up in Camden, Maine. They had the best reputation on the East Coast. I decided on Artisan auto works in Manchester, NH. Artisan has repaired and maintained several of my vehicles. They are outstanding to work with. Sean and the team always keep me informed. The work is done timely and professionally. They are an excellent choice for your vehicle needs. Reasonable cost with no surprises.
I am so disappointed I didn’t find this gem of a shop in my neighborhood earlier. Responsive, friendly, fair and respectful. I always have felt taken advantage of by mechanics. Definitely not the case here.
Recently took one of my two Land Rover Defenders into Aritsan Autoworks for some coolant line/turbo issues. The team at AA was amazing, quick and diligent in diagnosing the problem. With simple and expert explanation they fixed the problem costing me thousands less than a Land Rover dealership where I bought the vehicle in MA.
