I have used MLP enterprises for more years than I can remember. They are a class act. Always prompt, extremely knowledgeable and personable. Their technicians take great care to explain what they are doing and why in a manner that you can understand. They have serviced and installed heat pumps, air conditioners, thermostats and water heaters for us throughout the years. I wouldn’t use anyone else!
I am very unhappy with the level of unprofessionalism I experienced today with your company. Honestly up until this point I was extremely satisfied with the level of service I was getting and the promptness of my appointments. I received a call this morning that my part came in and could be installed today. I asked to be called when they were coming and I would come home. Very professional. Completed the work timely and thoroughly.
Unfortunately, the customer service of the president and technician is extremely poor and demeaning. Wouldn't even provide an estimate and the technician questioned our ability to plan out other work needed on the home and our knowledge level. Rude all the way around. I also suspect racism plays a role in who they service. Very demeaning, superior, aggressive communication style with minorities.
In my first meeting back in February of 2017 Jimmy stated (in his opinion) that my recently installed thermostat was a bit more complex then my set-up needed and suggested that it be changed which they could do for $186.00. This thermostat is new and can be used so I was not going to replace something that wasn't broken. I did not have the means to purchase the furnace until November 2017 and after interviewing with a couple of companies I finally decided to go with MLP because it was a woman owned company.
