Law Society of Upper Canada (LSUC) has suspended the founding member of ML Lawyers, Mary Hyun-Sook Lee aka Jisuh Lee, from practicing law for 6 months starting July 17, 2026. In May, Lee told the court that she had not used ChatGPT to prepare a factum in an estate matter, after the court was unable to find online references to the cases Lee cited.
