I went in for my first ever waxing experience today. The receptionist (I forgot her name, I apologize) was very welcoming. She answered all my questions thoroughly and happily. Even the embarrassing one. Mrs. Sylvia did the waxing. She made me feel at ease immediately. She gave me explanations for how she was doing things and why. Everyone knows the last two days it has been snowing so I understand if no one is in office to help but I was trying to contact MKP to cancel my appointment but no luck. The manager(s) charged my card 45$ dollars after I’ve explained I’ve been trying to give them a call to cancel. They charged my card before my appointment my time and I feel as if this was greedy move. I’ve always liked this waxing establishment but obviously they don’t value their customers. I deleted my original review because although I really like MKP, and the waxer did a great job, I will not be returning. I booked an appt for eyebrow waxing that stated it includes shaping on the website description. I was told they do not shape eyebrows there. As someone with really big bushy eyebrows shaping is essential.
