They canceled at 11PM the night before my wedding rehearsal. We really had to scramble to find someone who could do it the morning of the event. I understand that emergencies happen now and then, but from the other Google Reviews, it looks like I'm far from the first person who this has happened to with this company.
The wedding was at 5, dinner at 6. By 4:30 there was still no food on site. My brother and sister in law drove to another wedding venue and loaded as much of our dinner items as they could get into their mini van and did the set up for my daughter's wedding. My brother had to use a pocket knife (cleaned with a Clorox wipe) to cut the beef. We had About 8 containers of salsa, but not one chip. The two waiters showed up around 5. Used for my wedding and was very disappointed. Didn’t even get to taste my dessert and we received the WRONG entree. The bartender WAY overpoured. Our linens arrived late. Spoke to the owner several times with promises of correcting the mistakes. Just received lies that a slight refund would be given for our inconvenience! Very unhappy with Chef Michael. Also, this company has changed their name to try to avoid other negative reviews so HEADS UP!
Utilized EzCater to schedule a Corporate luncheon. Cancelled the catering order for over 100 people less than 24 hours before the lunch took place. MJM had ample amount of time to cancel (I placed the order a week in advance) and shouldn’t have accepted in the first place if they had no intention of fulfilling; highly unprofessional. Absolutely will never use again, and highly recommend all other reps and professionals discontinue using this “catering business” as well.
I have scheduled with MJM 2 times in the last 3 weeks through EZCater and both times MJM has cancelled the morning of the event. Completely unprofessional. My advice is to avoid this company unless you want to be left standing there with NO FOOD.
