My husband and I have eaten at this Mizu more than a couple dozen times and we actually prefer it over other steakhouses! The filet mignon cannot be beat (for $1 more than the regular steak hibachi meal and it's the same size too, you'd be crazy not to get the filet over a regular steak!) - it tastes better than any filet we've had at any steakhouse in Birmingham (like the meat was just cut locally and brought in that day to be cooked). Manager was not at all accomidating when we had multiple service issues. Would NEVER recommend. BEWARE.

Been going for over the year we've lived here. Couple of times we've had service issues. Tonight we went and the chef failed to cook our chicken thourghly. Everyone who had it at the table noticed. When it was brought up to the chef he got upset. The manager came over and said she would cook us "some in the back." When she brought it outit was just the chicken. No replacement for the rice or vegatabeles which were tainted by the raw chicken. We brought it upmtomour waitress who went back to the manager. She came back over an... read more
