My family and I visited this restaurant about 3 weeks ago for my daughter‘s 12th birthday. My server Liz was amazing! She made my daughter feel special and even sang happy birthday to her. The food and drinks were superb. The restaurant its self was beautiful! Definitely a restaurant to visit.
Food was good but what made the experience amazing was our server, Quan! Probably the best service we’ve gotten in the city. So friendly and kind. All his suggestions were amazing as well!
Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. The food was not tasty at all. The first dish had an unpleasant smell of spoiled fish, so it was impossible to eat. The second dish, the rice, was so overcooked and burnt that we couldn’t eat it either. We paid $180 in total, and honestly, the food and overall experience were absolutely not worth that amount of money. For $180, we expected much better quality and service. Very disappointing experience. Unfortunately, we will not be coming back.
What a pleasant surprise! We decided to branch out on a recent trip to Charlotte and we were so happy we did. The food was quite fresh, innovative, and delicious--the tuna bomb was amazing! Desiree was a delightful and helpful server, and Max, the GM, was incredibly welcoming, engaging, and generous. It's hard to beat the sunset view from the roof!
Arrived about 6pm with no reservation. Seated quickly! Service was fine. Atmosphere felt a bit stiff. Ordered the Tuna Bomb, Lemon Roll, Umami Burger, Grilled Octopus, and Lychee Martini. Lychee Martini (~$20) was sour and did not have any lychee taste or lychee fruit. Tuna Bomb (~$25) was a lump of spicy tuna served on top of a grilled half-avocado with skin on and ponzu sauce poured over the top.
