Saw Dr Mittan last time 3-4 yrs ago. Called for appt in Sept 2023 & was told she could not see me & that I would be a new patient BUT she is not taking new patients. Called again April 8 2024 & was told still not taking new patients. I want my medical records with her transferred to my primary dr & was told both times I can’t request that transfer. Those are mine not the drs office records. Have asked to talk to Dr Mittan myself & don’t think the Dr was ever told.
She talks like real people talk and not doctor, showoff, talk. She let my wife and I do most of the talking and she listened. She is not a pill pusher. She wants to get to the cause of a problem and not band-aid the problem and "call me later". She treats you like you are the only patient that she has today.
Terrible work ethic , very unprofessional, very disrespectful towards other healthcare providers who try to approach her in order to help their patients maintain a healthy lifestyle and get their prescribed medications ....
Trying for weeks to get an appointment. I have called 15 times and left messages several times. I have yet to get an appointment let alone speak to someone. I have worked both front and back office in the medical field for multi doctor practices so I know what it takes to run an office from all aspects. This is totally unacceptable. If I could give 0 stars I would.
The doctor was very knowledgeable and spent a lot of time speaking to me about my health, history, and medications. I learned more about my health in that half hour than I have in 20 years of doctors appointments with other. The staff was also friendly and from what I saw, very patient with others that were bordering on being rude to them. Overall as great of an experience as you can have going to a doctor, and I feel like this doctor is proactive when it comes to my health rather than reactive.
