What a champ! SMS'd to see if Marty could look at weak aircon. 1 hour later he was looking at the car. 10mins later it was fixed! (at minimal cost). Thanks Marty!
Blown away by the service received. Sent a text message about trying to book in for next week to look at a cool not cold AC. Using google messages you can see read receipts :D. Called back, said he's now mobile and services between Central coast and Ryde, and can pop over after lunch. Regassed with Dye. Gave recommendations on next steps. Unbelievable in this day and age.
It's hard to find an honest mechanic these days. Marty came to my place and discovered that I had done a poor job re-gassing my car (joke's on me). He vacuumed out the contaminated gas and re-gassed it properly. The entire process took over an hour, but I later found out that the initial contamination had caused issues with my condenser. Marty felt so bad that he only wanted to charge me for the gas and didn’t care about the time spent traveling to my place or the hour he worked.
