We were forced to use Mitera by Kindbody. Our surrogate had already been screened by our agency. Mitera charged us $650 for the surrogate appointment and then an additional $650 for the consultation with us after. That consultation could have been an email: "Nothing of note found". It was over within 5 minutes. It is absurd to be forced to hand over $1300 for a service that provides so little value.

My fertility doctor insists that there is no other way to schedule an appointment for screening. This is my second time using your services. The first time was necessary because our surrogate had high blood pressure, putting her at high risk, and our doctor required a consultation. I remember that it ended up being a complete waste of time and money. The doctor merely reviewed the records and provided us with a PDF report to pass on to our doctor. Skip this doctor. When I raised a few concerns, her response was “You are just being emotional” with a tone of misogyny and condescension.
