Hired after a reasonable bid to finish the basement. Handed over 50% deposit ($8,000) and four months later no work has been completed. Extremely difficult to get a hold of the contractor regardless of phone, email, or text once he deposited our check. Per contract, we requested a refund and have yet to receive it.
