I came here at 1pm as i came by train I asked could I drop my bag in my room no not till 2pm. The rooms were verytiny and no chair to put your clothes on overnight. The fridge had rust along the bottom inside. Not comfortable to sit on bed to watch telly
Lovely place to relax and enjoy We stopped to fill up at the servo next to the pub and the young man said he had just moved here and loved the tavern, that it was a great atmosphere. He was correct. Apart from the fact we walked in at 11.24 we were told by the very friendly and approachable staff that oops breakfast finished at 11.30 and lunch starts at 11.30. Fantastic pub hotel, great value, excellent food for dinner and breakfast, spotlessly clean and quiet rooms, great beds and showers, "small" breakfast was enormous and everything absolutely delicious!
Dinner for 3 - all loved it! Bruschetta, cottage pie, calamari, veggies & garlic bread, all wonderful and tasty. Very happy and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!
