Beautiful spot & very peaceful with a lovely walk around the lake where you can both hear and see the native wildlife. Plenty of areas to explore both on and off the tracks and some great spots for a picnic. Definitely worth a visit if your in the area, give yourself at least an hour to enjoy the lake walk at a leisurely pace. Only cost is the $8 day pass for the national park .
Mitchell Park in Maraylya is a great little spot for a family day out! Set alongside the beautiful Cattai Creek. The picnic area is well maintained and a great place to relax with family and friends, while the walking tracks offer a lovely way to explore the natural surroundings. A wonderful little park that is well worth the visit!
It’s very very quite. Can’t imagine its kind of untouched wilderness. At one point we lost the track, no signals, got a bit worried but then picked up the trail later. Definitely recommended.
Very nice park with a lot of different walking tracks. It was $8 parking for the day. You can pay just as you enter the park. Digital payment only when we were there. No coins. You can walk along the river, walk in the bush, walk among the big trees and the rainforest. A lot of birds and other animals along the tracks. We were lucky enough to see a herd of deer running through the trees. Loved it here.
