Because he used a plastic spacer in my knee that wasn't the right size, I now have to have it opened back up if I want rid of the pain I have. When I brought it up at follow up appointments, he just said I haven't exercised it enough. He also did my sister's shoulder and it is still not right either. Didn't show much compassion or sense of urgency to help relieve our pain. Now I get to have another major surgery to fix the knee I already paid him for. Ridiculous.
Dr. Oetken and his staff were very knowledgeable and caring. I had total knee replacement done on my left knee, with no complications. I was back to work in three months. I highly recommend this doctor and his staff, and plan to go back to him if or when I need my other knee operated on.
