I am submitting a review of my many years of experience with James as a client.He is an absolute color wizard! I naturally have very thick ethnic hair that's naturally dry and very dark in color, and he’s able to do a lighter single-process color with balayage highlights while fully preserving the integrity of my hair. Always attentive and courteous service. I found James at a benefit auction 10 years ago and have been a fan and customer ever since. He does a great job with my hair and in the community. Love his razor cuts. Help thicken my very thin hair. Bravo!

I'm lucky I landed at Mitchell James Salon after my hair stylist of 30 years retired. I was nervous but James is a great listener and experienced professional. I am very particular about my cut and color and he exceeds my expectations. I highly recommend James! As an add-on to my earlier review (still VERY happy with my cut and color), I just wanted to say there is a cute little boutique at the salon that's fun to shop, and James also sells quality hair care products, saving you a trip elsewhere.
