Building our house with Mitchell homes has been a pleasant experience to picking out our house plan and customizing it to our liking . The building process has been stress free and exciting to watch them build our home. We are so happy with the progress and quality of our home and we recommend Mitchell Homes to anyone.
We started in March 2022 with Mitchell Homes and Finished in July 2023. I helped build a home on 5 acres and it took 6 weeks to build. this was in Isle of wight County. It took 18 months to build in Surry County. The Covid, bad contractors, County people were unable to find qualified employees and silly mistakes from the County caused us to find a place to live while waiting for our house to be built. May 2019 I moved into my home after a GREAT deal of mold remediation prior to finishing the home. And, to the owner of Mitchel Homes, Scott, I will say that with lots of communication, this large situation was handled appropriately and with high regards to my health and the appropriate steps were taken to remediate this devastating problem. The problem today, five years to the month is because of a sub contractors failure to caulk around the large garage door causing water damage, mold and a great deal or repairs.
