My experience with Jamie Mitchell was terrible. She was not the attorney she portrayed herself to be during the initial consultation. She was my attorney for about 1 year and 3 months for custody case. Had at least 6 phone conversations month after month with her repeating what she was going to do and failed to do it each time. She attended 8 court case management meetings and failed each time to request even a hearing or establish temporary support after over a year. She took $7000 with absolutely nothing to show for it. I think this firm is only motivated to take as much money as they possibly can and thats it. They lost my case, and damaged my career.
Based on my experience this firm is nothing more than a money grabber. They suggested I pay a consultation fee knowing they had no intention or ABILITY to take my case. To make a long story short... the parties in my case have not resided in Illinois long enough for my case to be heard there. They know this but instead of confirming they wanted to charge me to just give me a simple yes or no answer.
