Finding the right mental health provider was not an easy task for me. I have an anxiety/panic disorder, I was new to the area and none of the therapists I tried worked for me. I was about to give up when I found Dr Elizabeth. She’s been my provider now for a year and a half, and I haven’t had an attack since. I would have good things to say but she was a very large reason why I had to go back to the hospital. As a thirteen year old kid who was severely abused by one and sometimes both parents, had a lot of undiagnosed mental health issues, who felt more alone than someone in solitary confinement, being told to my face by a mental health "professional" that I did not matter and that my parents marriage was more important than either I or my little sister destroyed me.
