DO NOT TRUST THIS Dr. Beware of the office staff, of this Dr's office. They are very dishonest and Rude. I would not trust these 2 Dr's in this office for any procedures. The staff is very bad at their jobs. Its a red flag to know it being reported the dr of his staff , he is allowing his staff to continue to abuse patients . They canceled my appt because dr wasn't able to be there that day, and said I canceled. They said they spoke to me on a day I was in hospital in icu from major surgery. Dr. Dutarte almost killed me. I told him I had a problem keeping potassium in my body. He had me use 97 oz. of clean out material when I told him that would eliminate all electrolytes out of my system. Sure enough home alone I started shaking vomiting and could not walk. I had extra potassium and magnesium so I crawled to the bathroom and in minutes the symptoms stopped. When I got to the surgery center and told Dr. Dutarte he never said a word. Who could expect a good outcome if that is the number on the caller ID? I want to clarify, I considered Dr Duterte for his outstanding education and most valuable, for not being part of the UF/Shands network of (can't use description or post would be banned). Dr forgive me if my post caused you any trouble. If I could only describe the suffering they caused to my family you would change your number and demand that they compensate you for using your good name to advance their impunity.

I have been seeing Dr Duterte for several months now. He seems to be caring and very detail oriented. I recently had an endoscopy done and have a diagnosis. My follow up was cancelled because my insurance changed and my primary is now my Medicare. Medicare told them to bill them directly but the office said no..... So, I am in pain and just have to wait. Compassion is NOT among this offices better traits.
