I recently became a patient of Dr. Cohen and boy am I happy that I did. He listens to you, reads your reports etc. He's been my Savior and I couldn't be more grateful to have him as my pain specialist. He's a fabulous guy! I highly recommend him especially if you are suffering from chronic pain. Thank you so much Dr. Cohen for taking care of me and taking me on as your patient.
OMG I waited over an hour and a half for the appointment. At first he was a nice guy and was kinda light hearted. But then he went Psycho and started yelling at me saying that I don't have Pancreatic Cancer when I have the tests and results paperwork that says Cystic Neoplasms, my bile ducts are clogged up and my liver ducts are too. Yet, plus I am nearly paralyzed in my lower trunk, tons of spinal diseases. I've been told I need at least 3 surgeries. But he had to traumatize me and he was scaring me with his odd behavior. Dr. Cohen was my primary care physician for over 28 years. He was without a doubt the best doctor that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Personal attention was always paramount for Mitch and he was always willing to go beyond the call of duty to make sure his patients were well treated. The day I was told he was leaving to practice Pain Care was a sad one for me. If the day comes when I need his specialty it will be with knowing that I will have the best again. He is the best Doctor I ever had. He understands, listens, is not judgmental, and offers an abundance of information for his patients to access and help with whatever issues you may be facing.
