WARNING!There should be an option for "no stars". We paid $28K in fees for a very BASIC estate!! It should have taken a year or less and it took 3 ½years of constantly trying to get updates and trust me, I was constantly on his case, and I still wouldn't get responses to email, or phone. Communication was PATHETIC! It took 7 monthsbefore getting a simple answer to the question, "what is the latest update" on the final disbursement. No follow up in 7 months!! SoUNPROFESSIONAL! Probably the worst law firm in Toronto. Very unprofessional.
Couldn't agree more with Nicolas Porter's review: "Don’t return calls but will gladly take your money." This was certainly my experience with the lawyer I dealt with. He did not disclose his fee structure. He did not tell me that I shouldn't expect any DRAFT document to review for at least 6 weeks. Nor did he tell me that he doesn't respond to emails or voice messages unless there is a question to be answered, which mine did but he didn't respond to those either in any timely way.
