Dr. Mitchell is an excellent vet. He is very knowledgable and has a wonderful and easy approach to pet care. I brought our 1 yr old chocolate Lab in for a cough and he discussed at length with me the possible cause of his condition and outlined a conservative and thoughtful treatment plan. He is excellent. So much so that when my elderly Golden developed a MCT we spent a good deal of time sorting out the right actions. we pass the vet in our town and go out of town to see dr. mitchell.....I love his bed side manner and his love for his patients....have been to other vets untill we found mitchells our st bernard was diagnosed with lyme and i know he's in good hands
I would NOT recommend this vet. We brought in our 6 month old puppy to get spayed and 2 days later her stitches were coming out. When we called them for a follow-up appmt they didn't have any available and said "she'd be fine". She wasn't. She had an infection and a fever, and the next night we were at the nearby animal hospital at 10pm getting her restitched and paying for it all over again! If I could give them NO STARS I would! Don't risk it, go elsewhere with your family pet.
Lives nearby and watches pets at night if they need to stay. very highly recommended!!
