This simple purchase of a good priced and spec outboard was offered by Mike to do the installation. Since going through a house move I was grateful for the offer and was so glad I did. Mike did a careful and well considered job and kept me informed on the complications and progress. I wanted a turn-key result and that's what I got, and the price was worth it. With Mike you get a real personal service, and if you maintain communication in progress and price you'll love his advice and service.
Mike and team are true experts in engine repair. My 2-cycle motor scooter broke down, and they invested lots of time to diagnose the problem (which wasn’t easy to find), while also tuning & cleaning it to running like new. You get what you pay for and Mike is a guru! Highly recommended!!

Overpriced! My recommendation to anyone who chooses Mitcham marine is get a firm detailed quote of works because if you don’t, your invoice will be much more than expected. Not necessarily a rip off, but perhaps not honest upfront about costs.
Recently purchased a trailer for my boat. Charged $300 to fit to trailer. Thought was a fair price until I seen they didn't do any work to rollers to fit my boat. The winch rope was wound on the wrong way so it didn't lock. Gets better. Driving home loose wheel nuts and almost lost both trailer and boat. Blamed his younger lads who I was told worked on the trailer. Sent pics of work not done and loose wheel nuts.
