Had an engine miss that was correctly diagnosed from my description. They serviced the injectors and I had it back within 48hrs. It runs perfectly and their charge was as I expected and reasonable. Great friendly service from the guys and I would thoroughly recommend them. Rob Smith
Extremely disappointed with Mitcham Marine. We were charged over $2,500 without clear communication or approval of the work. Quotes were avoided, delays weren’t communicated and the invoice came as a shock as we were led to believe the issue was only the trailer axle. Despite the cost, the boat is still not water worthy and now has engine and fuel issues after 20 mins in the water. Due to the lack of transparency and professionalism, we would not recommend this business as we now have to spend more money to fix it.
Avoid this place at all costs, no transparency/ communication on repairs done and no cost estimate despite several requests. Save your money and go elsewhere.
I took an engine here i had recently purchased 2nd hand from marketplace here to have it checked out, I told them what I knew about it being mechanically minded myself after the 1 hour "healthcheck" i requested, i received a report stating "they did a compression check 140(piston 1)-145(piston 2), said the motor gets warm and will require a new impeller, tiller bushing had failed, carby clean was needed and the steering is close to seizing which I already knew aswell, What they didnt tell me was, that cylinder 1 is miss firi... read more
