Beware of scare tactics to get you on drugs. Especially humira etc. Not helpful, and when I asked questions in regards to this i was told to find another doctor. Fear is not part of any diagnosis, if the patient experiences fear due to a diagnosed condition etc, that's normal. But when the doctor exaggerates the condition to scare you into taking a drug you are reluctant to, it's just wrong.
I saw Dr Martineau today for the first time and I could not have been any happier with him. I went into the appointment very nervous and full of questions and he addressed everything without me even having to ask. The first time in a long time I felt seen, heard and validated by a physician. He was extremely kind and made sure I understood and felt comfortable before I left. I would HIGHLY recommend seeing him.
