My eldest son is a pediatric cancer survivor. I have taken him and my other son to numerous therapists trying to find a good fit. Dr. Golant is by far the best. His trying therapy to scientific studies and how the brain and body work in general and post chemotherapy gives me confidence in therapy as a path to healing, I have recommended him and will again.
Nothing but good things to say about this man. Probably the longest consistent relationship in my life. : ). He has been my guardian angel and therapist for decades, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. (Also, I can verify—he has no staff, and I’ve never known him to be on the phone with his wife, Bobby.)
I have been to multiple psycs and this has been the worst experience! He does not listen and is always on the phone or talking to his wife. The staff is mean and doesnt care for you. Mitch doesnt listen to me and kicks me out earlier and still charges me for my full time
