Broken promises on fixing my car. Always had an excuse why he did'nt up. Never returned my phone calls or text messages. Not dependable mechanic hire someone else.
Cannot thank Steve enough for fixing my car while I was caught in the middle of Corpus Christi and Austin. He was prompt, helpful and super reasonable. Thanks again, Steve, for all your awesome help!
I called, spoke with a man. Presumably Steve. Made an appt for 1pm. 1:30 he hadn't arrived. I called him and he said he got held up and would be here at 4pm. I asked if he would be sure to call before 4 if he was not going to make it. He says of course he would. 4 pm I call him. He says he is just finishing and will be right here. His job was in jourdanton and I am close to 1604 and 37. No way he is still working and will be right there. As well as now it is really hot and soon to get dark if it is another 3 hours. Our first experience with Misty was amazing, BUT Steve is a whole different story. He took three weeks to come and actually fix the car. Said the alternator was going bad and we had to go in person to Oreily's to buy it (using his discount of course, so he got the rewards points I guess). While he was swapping out the alternator, he found a broken bit on the radiator that he didn't mention before and we had to buy it on Amazon. Firstly, there are a couple of reviews here that talk about bad experiences. These reviews are malicious, misleading, or in some instances lying outright. Misty and Steve are hands down the most helpful people I have ever met, and they make a living by being generous, patient, kind, and helpful above all.
