Only place in Australia that I have found that sells Lizano sauce from Costa Rica. I had stocked up in Costa Rica 2 years ago but have since ran out. Large selection of sauces, spices, coffee, soft cheeses, frozen foods and snacks from Central and South America. Everyone complaining out the prices - these goods have to come from a long way away and freight is expensive. If you really want something pay for it - or go without, simple!
got a bag of ancho chilis and every single chili was covered and filled with black specks either bug eggs or poop and found a small maggot in one of them completely unusable. also found holes from bugs eating through and cob webs. everything else i bought was good but the anchos very sad. edit: also found a bad guajillo pepper in that bag too with bug poo and a bug would avoid the peppers and chilis

I’m Brazilian and was so happy to find this shop in Newtown! They sell coxinha, pão de queijo, paçoca, and the coffee is really good quality. It felt like a little taste of home!
The staff is very friendly and all the products are high-quality. Its authentic latin vibes! Highly recommended.
