Best Romantic restaurant – My Fiance and i went to the resort for his birthday and we ended our wonderful journey with dinner at this fantastic restaurant. We arrived a little late (close to closing) and the hostess was so sweet and told us she would get us in. When we did get in, everything from the bar to the view was wonderful. New name, same quality Azzura Point is now called Mistral. The food is just as good although the menu is a little different. You can get a bucket of Mussles and a glass of wine for 10 dollars in the bar! I have enjoyed Azzura Point since 1995 and will miss it but I look forward to future meals at Mistral! The seafood is all locally caught unless otherwise stated on the menu and they grow many seasonings on premises.

Nice relaxing resort Every room has an ocean view here, even if you have to stand on your balcony and lean to see it. Nestled between the canals and the bay, this resort feels a long way away from the city, yet is close.
If you never want to leave your hotel this is the one to stay at They offer EVERYTHING from Restaurants, to renting a boat or jet ski, pools, spas, fitness center and so much more. If you like nastalgia, the double staircase in the lobby reminds me of the refirbished Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles. You can go and pamper yourself while your other half plays golf. Great location! My husband and I stayed here for our wedding night. To start, when you enter the hotel is beautiful. Huge stairways that connect with nice big chandeleir in the middle. Rooms were not very big, but very nice, and the view was great. We were not on a top floor, but we could still overlook onto the water and see all the sailboats and even catch a glimpse of the San Diego bay.
