I highly recommend Mistiso’s Place as a superb ‘home’ in Nelson for short or longer term stays. We recently stayed in the Silverking Suite for a brief 4 day retreat, for the first time - I regret we hadn’t found Mistiso’s years ago. The space was roomy, well designed and creatively finished. We enjoyed our stay at Silverking apartment. Maria is a very good host. She communicates well and offers many options for exploring Nelson. We were less than a five minute walk away from Baker St. Maria also let us know she was available if we needed anything. Our two dogs stayed with us as well. The location was perfect for walking the dogs. Gyro Park is a five minute walk away. A dog park also near by.
Mistiso’s has been my go to for over 20 years. When you discover a gem as sweet & authentic as this, you don’t have to venture any further. Peace of mind is priceless, I am grateful to know this is it. Each rental is comfortable, unique, close to amenities. Everything you require is within walking distance. Love it! Try it for yourself, you won’t be disappointed. You rock Maria!!
My daughter and I stayed in the Silverking suite recently. The bed was so comfortable, along with having the AC unit that cooled everything off nicely. The kitchen had everything we needed and we appreciated the local coffee beans. The house is easily accessible, and everything downtown as well as the pier were walkable. We stayed in the upstairs room for 3 nights in July and it was lovely — exactly as described with nice small touches (green tea available, some ice in the freezer, a few chocolates, etc.). The place was clean and quiet and Maria was a welcoming host. The bed was cozy to sleep in as well. It is close to downtown so perfect to leave your car and just explore the town by foot. Looking forward to our next visit!
