I called to have a switch looked at that was not working properly. I received a 21K quote. The technician quoted me  $430 to replace my outlets in 3 rooms plus fix the initial problem. He said he didn’t have the parts so sent another tech.  Other tech arrives and says he was only told to fix two 2-way switches. He called the first tech who stated I misunderstood him. Call at your own risk!!! Their only concern is collecting $$$ from you. I am beyond disappointed with this group and their extremely poor communication skills. I am also extremely disappointed in myself for not cutting ties with this group sooner. I am simply sharing our story with the hopes no one else has to deal with the same thing we had to deal with. This is the first time I used Mr. Sparky, and they will definitely be my new go to electricians! I love that they are a small locally owned business! I called about a small non-urgent project, and they were able to come the same day, despite being backed up due to many local flooding issues. We feel like we have been scammed. We were frustrated because two electricians did not show up. Mr. Sparkey came heard our concerns that something was surging and causing higher electric bills than normal. They told us that the electrical box needed replaced with suege protection would cost $8089. We were foolish and did not get a second opinion. The men were here 6 hours. Afterwards we checked some sites and realized we paid too much. We asked for an itemized bill and was told that they don"t do that. We normally pride ours... read more
