I called and requested a sub panel replacement with a precise scope of work and said I had photos I wanted to email over. They said they don’t know how to bid that way and needed to estimate on site. I asked if they charged and of course they do. They then said they want to ensure the most precise bid possible and I could be missing something and it is a standard practice in the industry. But I was telling them exactly what I want to have them bid and offering photos. That is not standard industry practices.
