This company is extremely overpriced. The technician that arrived was qualified and helpful. However, the company itself charges too much for diagnostics and repairs. Also they refuse to give a quote over the phone. Many electricians will give quotes or estimates prior to arriving on site. One positive of this company is that they will arrive on short notice. However if you do not have an emergency job then look elsewhere.

When I called and explained my issue they said it would be a 69.00 charge to diagnose. I agreed and set my appointment. When the guy came he said well you have aluminum wiring so it's going to be ONE THOUSAND to diagnose plus the 69.00 trip charge. Complete bait and switch and a waste of my time and my 69.00. I would verify any upfront diagnostic costs before agreeing. All they had to do was ask the age of my home or warn me that aluminum wiring is not covered under the 69 00 charge. Insanely over priced. When he gave me the quote for the "diagnostic" I would have told him to leave if it weren't 2 days before Christmas and my kids lights outside weren't working. $635 to replace a 20 dollar GFCI in the garage. For the "diagnostic" he opened the 3 outside outlets to show me what a rusty 30 year old outlet looks like - not fix it mind you, just show me. So for my money I got a new GFCI outlet and one (just one) plastic cover for one outside outlet. Nothing was deceptive, they told me all this up front. The ... read more

Josh was our technician and he left me feeling confident of the problem and the best solution. We will be using Mr Sparky again because of his ethics and knowledge.
