My wife just collected her shoes. From the original advice of not to "glue" the soles, and instead "re-sole" the shoes at a higher price, they just "glued" the shoes and charged the higher price. Deceptive so be warned.
The two staff members I've encountered recently were both unbelievably rude. I do not recommend this store.
Maybe if it's just for cutting keys. I've had a few issues with them over the years. I took a leather bag here for a small repair to the strap which had come unstitched. When I went to collect it (with a charge of $40) the body of the bag was damaged badly in multiple places. When I pointed it out and asked what happened to it they shrugged it off and said it was from the clamp they used while repairing the strap, which honestly just looked like they used super glue. Ivan the staff at Mr. Minit is super rude person. He says no hello or thanks, Zero customer service.He charges whatever he feels like and rips you off 👎
I had called and spoken to someone about engraving a Swiss Army knife as a gift and they said it was possible and they were really helpful. Unfortunately today when I took it in, they’ve engraved terribly (in the incorrect way for Swiss Army knives) on the plastic and effectively ruined the gift/intention. So disappointed. If only they had have known it should be on the blade, not the plastic
