At Mister Artisan, you’re basically going for the novelty, not the flavour. Had the Crème Brûlée ice-cream cup and it was sadly disappointing. It was fun to watch the whole liquid nitrogen process and the searing of the caramel on top, but the ice-cream itself was oddly flavourless- it literally tasted like nothing, which is not something I’ve ever experienced before. $8+ for a very small portion of bland ice-cream is not an experience I’m eager to repeat.
Tried a few things here that were so-so, just fine, then I had the s’mores ice cream bar and WOW I’m a convert. Phenomenal.
Most confusing and unsatisfying ice cream I’ve ever had. Ordered both a cup and an ice cream sandwich. The cup ice cream both felt and tasted like air, and the ice cream sandwich (crème brûlée) for some reason was entirely peanut flavored. The ice cream was peanut and the sandwich was peanut and neither of the ice creams were creamy at all. Overhyped and overpriced.

W ice cream! On everything, this is a must go to spot for ice cream cravings if you’re in Vancouver. We tried the crème brûlée ice cream sandwich and it was genuinely one of the best sweet treats to ever exist. The light char on the ice cream from blow torching the powdered sugar hits every molecule of my taste buds.
