Good and Natural They offer great selection healthy, fresh foods including in the deli. Membership fee is reasonable.
Good co-op grocery store Mississippi Market always has fresh fruit and vegetables, and a wide variety of organic food to choose from. Parking can be challenging on certain days and at certain times, but otherwise it is a convenient location. It is also a great place to go to get a sandwich or something similar from the deli, and the staff are always very helpful and friendly.
Nice "co-op" shopping. From what I hear, the employees aren't treated as well as most co-op employees tend to be, though I may be wrong. The store, however yupified as it may be, is a nice market offering many organic selections in addition to traditional choices. Honestly, I think Whole foods may be nicer, but I have become gunshy of Whole Foods due to reports of them trying to prevent employees from Unionizing.
I *heart* my Coop The Twin Cities were at the heart of a huge coop movement in the 70's. Most of them are now yuppified, just like this one.
