This place is a mixed bag of nuts. You know how some of the nuts are delicious and sweet and some of them you spit them out as they're nasty. Our government had this brilliant idea of setting these places up as a stop Gap for their horrific mismanagement of doctors for the people and maybe the original idea was wonderful but with no one to audit and to follow up with how's this actually working? My experience was great! The triage nurse Amy took the time to answer my questions and get my details. The NP was kind and made me feel heard.
Thank you to Alicia and to NP Ambrose for helping me on Saturday. I'm thankful for the compassion and care you gave me. The dosage of the medication worked, and the flare and pain is gone and my fear of a breakout has dissipated. Loads of gratitude to all at this facility. It reminds me how fortunate we are to have access to medical services.
Despite an ear infection, & slight dizziness, the RN, VED refused to let me make an appointment to come in today. They never have doctors there when I call, and rarely a nurse practioner. As all clinics are closed today in mission and Maple Ridge, she told me to drive to an Abbotsford walk in clinic or call 911 if it's urgent, but I don't come to Mission urgent care!
