my experience was having a roommate who crashed out everyday and put me in danger it was so bad one time that she put a hole the side of a torso into the wall and put a hole that when standing in the bedroom you could clearly see into the bathroom they fixed it with a peice of cardboard. i was forced to leave my room as soon as we were all going to bed, stayed up till 11 with all the other patients with one staff who was in and out the room while trying not to focus on the yelling and banging and stuff breaking, that night ... read more
Woooh. It was a great and horrible time I spent there. Mission Prep is one of those places that has some really amazing people — especially the CCs. They genuinely care about the kids and try their best to make everyone feel safe and supported. But they’re so overworked it’s honestly heartbreaking. Making a decision to trust the care of your child to others is one of the toughest to ever make. I truly can not say enough great things about Mission Prep, the program and the staff who run it. The setting is so peaceful, the house is wonderful and the staff are amazing. The care, love, support and tools they teach are all I could have hoped and asked for.
