Woooh. It was a great and horrible time I spent there. Mission Prep is one of those places that has some really amazing people — especially the CCs. They genuinely care about the kids and try their best to make everyone feel safe and supported. But they’re so overworked it’s honestly heartbreaking. Making a decision to trust the care of your child to others is one of the toughest to ever make. I truly can not say enough great things about Mission Prep, the program and the staff who run it. The setting is so peaceful, the house is wonderful and the staff are amazing. The care, love, support and tools they teach are all I could have hoped and asked for. Treatment was invasive and confrontational. Very uncomfortable stay. Took very long to be able to open up to mental health professionals again.

There is a stigma with RTF's, and it is a very difficult decision for parents to make. I am so grateful to have found Mission Prep for my daughter. Mission Prep is the exception to the "stigma." Other RTF's take notes.... William (admissions) was super informative and explained everything in detail to me from the smallest detail to the largest detail. His communication was nothing short of phenomenal. There was a delay because of insurance, but he picked up right where we left off and made the process flawless. He is honest... read more
