No residential treatment program is going to be perfect, but after looking into multiple options I chose this program for my child. Ultimately, when they came home they had mainly positive things to say about the program and most of the staff members. They have a number of organized outings and there was a good balance of therapy and social activities. I was in mission prep in April/may of 2025. I was extremely disappointed of my experience. I will keep this as short as possible. If you are thinking of sending your kid here, don’t. When I first got there I was placed with a therapist that had already put in his 2 weeks. I had 2 sessions with him, which he lied about the length of (said they were 45 mins, but a staff member confirmed with me that they were only about 15) before they gave me a different therapist. Don’t send your child here. This place is not good. I did my due diligence with trying the find the right RTC for my child and since I have voiced concerns and want to seek other help for my child they are holding my child so they can get more money and reporting me to CPS. I cannot stress enough this is the absolute wrong place to send your child. Don’t do it. They don’t require the children to participate in services. I hope my child will be able to come home soon so we can get the right treatment.

We were terrified when we first sent our daughter hundreds of miles away from us to get the help we just could not provide on our own. We are beyond grateful for the support our daughter received at mission prep from ALL of the staff. I appreciated that there were only 5-6 girls in the house so she received one on one support often. My daughter has successfully completed mission prep, a php program they set her up with following inpatient and is no longer suicidal. We are grateful for everyone at mission prep!

Our family journey before Mission Prep included three residential stays and several therapists. None of the experiences helped my child. She was lost, unhappy and broken and I was running out of ideas to help her. I had heard about Mission Prep from another facility after my child was denied acceptance.
