Visited from an hour away to be met with signs in the parking lot that said parking was free for patrons of certain establishments if they were registered. Not being familiar with the area, I made an account for the Pay By Phone app that has signs posted all over the parking lot above the free parking signs. This was our first time at MPN, and we heard such great things about it. Our server did a great job of requesting favorites, and our thoughts combined with her suggestions helped us make some good picks. The salad with fennel was refreshing, but the rest was not what I expected. We tried the Nduya Mac and Cheese along with a dealer’s choice on the pizza. Both had great ingredients but lacked the punch with some heat. It wasn’t the worst or best, but it left much to be desired for our palates.
I’m a pizza snob and MPN has one of the best pizzas I ever had, and a great restaurant overall. Fantastic crust and all around delicious pizza. Me and my family did the chef-choice prix fixe dinner last night, which is also fantastic. I always go here when visiting Winston-Salem.
