Rigatoni a la vodka with ricotta = the best pasta dish I've had in 10 years.
I had high hopes when coming across Misson Pizza as an option for my anniversary. Upon arrival I was a bit surprised by the lack of atmosphere and welcoming from the staff. I simply shrugged it off because I’m sure the restaurant would make up for it in other ways. However other than the pizza dough itself, everything was average. Especially the very undercooked pasta. Spectacular! Definitely one of the top pizzas in the country (perfect dough + quality, freshness and simplicity of ingredients) and their hospitality mission is also off the charts! Can't wait to go back. Thank you, MPN.
Remains one of our favorite spots. Best restaurant in Winston Salem, and one of the best pizza places on the east coast. High quality ingredients every time. Food is crafted with exceptional care. We always enjoy the Pizzakase experience, well worth the money. Incredible food every time.
Edited- We keep coming back. I am getting used to the heavier style Zeppole and it is yummy. I have a sulfite allergy and they are great about steering me away from foods with wine on the al la carte menu. As always, really good food. Amazing Neapolitan pizza made with fresh ingredients.
