I needed to put my sweet 13 year old Boston Terrier down. I called this place and the gentleman that answered the phone was very nice, very informative and helpful. I show up in the afternoon with my brother and dog, in tears. A young lady with an unfriendly face looked at me with a 'what do you need face?' I mentioned we needed to put our dog down and she says: 'Oh, we're at capacity right now so we're diverting people to other locations.' This is a very good place to take your pet for care. I arrived with my little dog after he had been injured; sadly, they were unable to save his life. I had never had a pet in my care before, and now that I finally did, he has gone off to paradise to find little friends to play with. The nurses and the doctor did a wonderful and dedicated job.
We have had to use their emergency services twice now, always on a holiday it seems. First time was to have an adopted dog "eased of its pain" after an agressive cancer took his ability to stand/walk. Sadly, it seems they get a lot of that, based on the pet owners walking out without pets, or sitting in the waiting room - looking exactly like we did this past New Years Day. This time, on Thanksgiving, had to take our 11 mo old puppy to be checked out. He was promptly taken care off and back on the road home.
Back in July our 2 year old French bulldog suddenly became paralyzed in her back legs. We took her to our family vet and she suggested that we take her to Mission Med Vet. Much to our luck, Dr. Weinstein was there and was able to do surgery that very day! He saved our girl we are forever grateful. The entire team has taken such good care of both of our dogs. I highly recommend this office!
