I had a terrible experience with Providence and Dr Gantes. I had one appointment with him in order to meet him and potentially secure him as my new GP. At this appointment, he asked me if I had any issues and I said that I thought I had a wart on my foot. He looked at it and declared that it was a Corn and asked me if I would like some of the callous around it cut down to relieve some pressure. Good luck getting into a doctor, DO NOT waste time calling if you are looking for a new primary. I was told ALL doctors are not taking new patients in San Clemente. I have never heard that a whole practice is not taking new patients, one would think that the scheduler would at least help a new patient get in at another location but it felt like this lady, even if they were accepting new patients or open to another location, wouldn't let you know that because she didn't want to put in the extra time.
