Recently, I needed to have four antique English etchings matted and framed -- I’d always used Mission Framing in South Pasadena (since 2001) but hadn’t visited the store since it changed ownership. I was looking for a frame for my art. A guy, (maybe owner?) answered my request, but making custom frame costs starting at $250 per one. Instead, I bought a pre-frame out of displays that perfectly fit my picture!! Actually the good quality and reasonable were more than I sought.
Mission Framing is all I needed! Frustrated with choices in a mirror for my remodeled bathroom, I visited them to get a quote on a custom sized, beveled mirror. Helga worked with me designing it, and it turned out perfect! So recently, I went back with a beautiful watercolor painting from a local artist, and again, Mission to the rescue. They worked patiently with me choosing a mat color, offered professional 'no pressure' advice, and wow, the artwork is now beautifully framed.
