We had a fantastic stay at this property, everything was perfect! It was so well appointed and spotlessly clean. The decor was very stylish and the garden was lush, sitting on the rear deck was a favourite spot. Will definitely stay again, hosts were terrific communicators.
Every landlords wet dream, every renters worst nightmare. Chastised for having an empty chip packet on the coffee table that was consumed the morning of the inspection. Chastised for having a pan soaking in the sink. How dare I live in a house that was designated to be lived in. Minor mould situations were blown out of proportion despite our efforts to rectify the situation. We came up from further south and we’re not used to so much humidity. But we’re the absolute worst.
BANFIELD 3 We arrived on Tuesday 28th 2025. Forecast warnings from BOM was heatwave. No worries we thought,it is air-conditioned. While moving in , the neighbour welcomed us and informed us that there will be a power cut the next day due to the power pole out front being replaced. No power from 08.30 till 14.30. We are in a heatwave situation ,no way to keep cool or keep our refrigerated food from spoiling. I tried to contact the letting agent via messages, no response until the next day. Great house perfect location. We enjoyed our stay @ Salt on South, which is a two storey house, the master bedrooms is located on the second floor along with the kitchen & main living areas. There are 2 other bedrooms downstairs with their own bathroom & sitting areas. The house is open plan, with lots of different options for relaxing and the views are wonderful, especially the sunrise from behind Dunk Island each morning. South Mission Beach is a wonderful beach to walk along & we loved the Kennedy walk track.
