Brisket was tough and over cooked
I have to say that overall this is one of the best BBQ restaurants I've been to. The food was excellent. They bought a sampler tray for us to try basically every meat they had. All of it was quite good. Collards, green beans and slaw were very flavorful. Cornbread was also above par. The service was excellent. Best service of any restaurant I've visited in year. Mission is one of my new favorite restaurants. Great job. Oh and they support our veterans and first responders to boot. Thank you for enjoyable evening.
Heard a lot about this place and finally got to try them. And it was.....OK. Staff and cashier was helpful with recommendations and were friendly. I got the 3 meat plate of moist brisket, turkey and ribs. The brisket was indeed moist but also a bit fatty. The ribs looked a bit pale but the meat was moist and falling off the bone. The turkey was the best with having decent density, taste and flavor. 3 meat plate, no drinks was $21. Was expecting more from all I've heard. Overall I give this place a B.
Always smells great when you walk in the door food is fresh and hot staff is very friendly.
