My family had Mission BBQ for the first time. The specific location we went to was the one in Gambrills, MD on Evergreen Road. From the moment we walked in, my family and I were blown away. Everything from the decoration with all the military swag (and photos with celebs) to everyone welcoming us. Had the turkey sandwich, turkey was good as was the Mac & cheese although the bun was dry. Disclaimer - we’re from Texas and our bbq standards are very high.
Such an AMAZING team. They went above and beyond to make my birthday lunch feel so special. The food was delicious, and the people are outstanding.
I just witnessed an employee transfer the dirty sauce tops to the clean filled bottles. No gloves and just rinsing off the old sauce tops with sink water and his bare hands. NO SOAP USED!!! Unsanitary food handling at its best! YUCK!
Consistent and quick. Also, if you mix half sweet tea with half lemonade, it's something special.
