We had such a wonderful experience at Mission BBQ today. The food was absolutely delicious as always, but what truly made our visit stand out was the incredible customer service from Triston. He was so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind from the moment we walked in. After thinking the peach cobbler was completely sold out, he went above and beyond to bring out the very last serving for us — such a thoughtful gesture that truly made our day. First time trying this place, and it was amazing!!
The food and customer service at Mission BBQ Ocala are consistently excellent. It's all because of their incredible team. However, there's one team member who I would like to publicly recognize for her exceptional service in the dining room: Daisy. Her kindness, professionalism, and work ethic make her an extremely valuable asset to the team. If you haven't met Daisy yet, you really need to.
I stopped in during Armed Forces week for a lunch meeting. I had no idea it was Navy day, but I appreciated the free sandwich! The brisket is awesome! Don't sleep on the turkey though. I can (and have) eat the whole menu. As Veteran, I can't think of a restaurant that feels more like home.
Drove from Gainesville. It always hits. I love it.
