I bought me a Drexel,dresser and a round leather table. The dresser arrived damaged and the movers arrived to my house at 1:00am . They had delivered the pieces to my next door neighbor. If I would not not caught it, my neighbor would have stayed with my furniture. Micheal and Kate, employees have promised to make things right for me. Ron and I ordered 4 chairs and a coffee table for our new home. We along with family & friends were blown away by how beautiful & the quality of these pieces. We look forward to MAS emails showcasing new additions. Actually we just ordered some additional items. I guess you could say we are very happy return clients!
Do not do business with Bernaby and Mission Avenue studios. He consigned a piece of furniture for me and my furniture business and refuses to pay me. I have called repeatedly and he has his employees trained to say that he can not be reached. He has had my money from the sale of my furniture for over 3 months. Bernaby refuses to speak with me. From reading other reviews it is obvious I am not the only one he has done this to. Next call, BBB.
Great place! I'm over the moon with Mission Avenue! I have worked with these folks before and they are very courteous and strive to please. They never cease to surprise me.The choices of color and finishes on these re-imagined pieces - unexpected and spectacular! I bought a lovely table from Mission Avenue under its "Vintage Reborn" iteration on eBay, and although I have paid over $1,000 including shipping costs, I have not received the item, which they had agreed to hold for me. I appreciate their holding it but I cannot get them now to arrange delivery or to return my calls. They may mean well, but I bought that table in November and am still awaiting delivery, but I'm turning it over to my lawyer.
We have bought five large pieces of terrific furniture from MAS and are having a pair of mid century cypress chairs redone but them as well. They are great and do the very best work. We could not be more pleased. There is no way we could find the style and quality workmanship in any of the stores selling new stuff. All of their furniture pieces have character and functionality. This is not old dirty used furniture. These are beautifully redone solid pieces ready for a new life.
