If I use the online system it constantly rejects my ticket for absolutely dumb reasons, no one answers the phone number given to update the ticket, and if I just call in then the people on the phone lambast me for not using the online system. It's amazing anyone is able to get anything done by using their system since it never works correctly or the people approving the tickets are unable to read a map, I'm not sure. The mapping could be better in the system and I should be able to mark multiple lots at once when they are connected.
I would leave 0 stars if I could. The people on the phone are extremely unhelpful. When you tell them you don't understand what they are asking they keep repeating themselves without changing any wording and do it with an attitude. When you give them clear information they act like you're speaking in riddles. I had to tell the guy that answered 6 times I am the homeowner not a contractor. If I ever have to call them again it will be too soon.
The Exactix ticket system is inefficient and poorly designed. I only needed cable lines marked under my deck, but the system requires marking the entire back of the house with all utilities—an incredible waste of time and resources. To make matters worse, because you can't highlight in the system the need for marking under the deck, unless you’re present to direct the technician, the one area that repeatedly gets missed is under the deck—the exact spot needed—resulting in repeat service calls. I'd rather dig and ask for forgiveness than stay on hold with individuals who don't understand what an emergency constitutes use to be able to call and they came out
