Arepas are delicious! But the spicy Sauce! that Sauce! Wooow, I took the one with chimichurri with yuca fries and I don’t regret the choice. Highly, highly recommend.

Actually was quite pleasantly surprised that we liked the Venezuelan food. The lady at the counter was friendly and helpful. Lots of plant based options. Beans were well cooked and flavored. So was the rice. The bananas/ plantains added good sweet flavor to the whole meal. The coconut cheese was interesting. Never had that before but it did taste like cheese and added flavor. The best thing I ate on Maui: the Patacon sandwich with carne asada. I could eat that every day. It is absolutely slaps. I also ordered the pabellón, Hawaiiana, and carne asada arepas. All were delicious, but la Hawaiiana got a bit soggy due to the moisture of the pineapple salsa — still tasty. The yuca fries were perfect. The cocaffogato was spectacular. Tried the yuca fries and jackfruit Hawaiian arepas. This was our first time trying Venezuelan cuisine, and everything was really flavorful and delicious. The arepas were definitely my favorite!
